Terms of Service for GracePad

Last Updated: October 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and GospelCentrik Inc., a Delaware corporation ("GCI," "we," "us," or "our"). They cover your use of GracePad, including the apps for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows, Grace AI, and the website at thegracepad.com (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these Terms.

1. Who can use GracePad

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You agree that the information you give us is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password and devices secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Please tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. One person should use one account, and you may not sell, rent or transfer it.

3. Free and paid plans

  • Free and Pro: GracePad has a free plan with some limits, such as a daily Grace AI allowance and caps on certain features, and a paid plan ("Pro") that removes or raises them. What each plan includes is shown in the app, and we may change it from time to time.
  • Billing: Pro is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which handle payment, renewal and receipts under their own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your store account, before the end of the current period. Deleting your GracePad account does not cancel a store subscription.
  • Prices and refunds: the price is shown before you buy. If we change it, the store tells you before it applies to you. Refunds are handled by the store that sold you the subscription, under its policy and any rights the law gives you.

4. Your content

You own your notes, annotations, prayers and everything else you create in GracePad ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of it.

  • Permission to run the Service: you give us a limited permission to store, sync, back up, process and display Your Content, and to send what you choose to Grace AI, only so we can provide the Service to you.
  • Sensitive content: Your Content, such as notes, prayers and the passages you study, can reveal your religious beliefs. GracePad cannot work without handling it. By creating an account and adding content, you explicitly agree that we process it as described in our Privacy Policy, including under the rules for sensitive information in the European Union and the United Kingdom. You can withdraw this agreement at any time by deleting your account.
  • Sharing: Your Content is private unless you share it. When you share something, the people you share it with can see it, and you are responsible for what you share.
  • Rules for what you share: do not share content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may review reported content and remove it or limit sharing. We do not routinely read your private content.
  • Backups: keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Recovery of notes and plans is a Pro feature and is not guaranteed.

5. Grace AI

Grace AI is a study helper powered by AI. It can explain passages, summarize your notes and help you plan. Please keep these points in mind:

  • It is not Scripture, and it is not a pastor, counselor, lawyer or doctor. It can be wrong, so weigh everything it says against the Bible and the guidance of your church.
  • Scripture it quotes is shown as written in the translation, not paraphrased.
  • We may limit how much you can use it, and we may change or pause features.
  • Do not use it to produce harmful, deceptive or unlawful content, or to try to get around its limits.

6. Bible translations and other content

Bible translations and study resources in GracePad belong to their publishers and rights holders, and are provided under licences or as public-domain works. Each translation shows its own copyright and licence notice. You may read and study them in the app for your own personal use, and quote reasonable amounts with credit as the notice allows. You may not copy, download in bulk, scrape or redistribute translation text, or remove copyright notices. Some translations may be added, changed or removed over time as our licences change.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful or to harm others;
  • copy, reverse engineer, scrape or interfere with the Service, or try to get unauthorized access to it or to other people's accounts;
  • overload the Service, or use automated means to access it, other than through the interfaces we provide;
  • avoid limits or payment, or resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission.

8. Our property

The Service, including its software, design, text, curated content and the GracePad and Grace AI names and logos, belongs to GCI or its licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the apps for your own study, worship and ministry, under these Terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

9. Third-party services

GracePad works with services we do not control, such as the App Store, Google Play, Apple and Google sign-in, and links to other websites. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them. If you get the app from Apple or Google, they are not a party to these Terms and have no duty to support the app, though they may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary where their rules provide for it.

10. Changes to the Service

We work to keep GracePad available and improving, but we cannot promise it will always work without interruption. We may add, change or remove features, and we will try to give notice of changes that significantly affect you.

11. Ending your use

  • By you: you may stop using GracePad at any time and delete your account from Settings. See how to delete your account and data. A deleted account is scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days, during which you can change your mind by reactivating it.
  • By us: we may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Service or other people. We will tell you why where we can, unless the law or safety says otherwise.
  • What survives: sections that by their nature should continue after your account ends (such as our property, disclaimers, limits of liability and governing law) do.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or the accuracy of Grace AI output. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live that cannot be waived.

13. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, GCI and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to US$100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you in the app or by email if the changes are significant. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using it and delete your account.
